Job Reference: j431 Title: Simulator Technician Location: Gatwick Salary: Ј22000 - Ј34000 depending on experience
A vacancy has arisen for a Simulator Technician. This opportunity will be based at the Gatwick Training Centre. In Gatwick you will be reporting to the Training Devices Manager.
Responsible for the installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of flight simulators and associated electronic devices, the Simulator Technician team will:
- Install modifications and upgrades - Diagnose and correct simulator discrepancies - Calibrate and align simulator systems - Configure simulator hardware and software systems
Successful applicants will demonstrate a high level of customer support capability as the role may involve accompanying customer(s) through Instructor station training and during dry training operations, being available for advice and troubleshooting, and offering appropriate assistance.
The roles also requires effective document maintenance, recording activities in both the shift log and equipment device logs, and assisting instructors and students in the completion of Malfunction and Corrective Action Reports
